आजवर पृथ्वीच्या उत्पत्तीपासून मानवजातीच्या निर्मितीसोबत अनेक जीवांचीही उत्पत्ती या भूपृष्ठावर झाली. परंतू निसर्गाची रचनाच अशी आहे की, प्रत्येक प्राणिमात्राला त्याची त्याला सुरक्षाकवचं दिलेली आहेत. केवळ मानव असा प्राणी आहे ज्याला त्याच्या सुरक्षेसाठी स्वतःसोबतच अन्य घटकांवर अवलंबून रहावे लागते. जंगलात वास्तव्य करणाऱ्या प्राण्यांना कधी ऍडमिट केलं जातं नाही, त्यांची जखम त्यांच्याच लाळेने बरी होते.हवेत उडणाऱ्या पक्षांना पाय दुखावला म्हणून कधी प्लास्टर केलं नाहीये. परंतू मानवाचं तसं नाहीये. आजवर मानवजातीच्या आजारांवर उपाययोजना म्हणून वैद्य, वनस्पती, आयुर्वेदिक काढे वगैरे उपाययोजना झाल्या आणि आहेतही. आत्ताच्या घडीला विज्ञानासोबत जग खुप पुढे गेले आणि अन्न, वस्त्र, निवारा यासोबतीने ‘आरोग्य’ ही चौथी प्रमुख गरज निर्माण झाली. वेगवेगळ्या शस्त्रक्रिया आल्या. जलद बदल करणाऱ्या गोष्टी आल्या वगैरे वगैरे.. परंतू हे सर्व असूनही त्याचा प्रसार पाहिजे त्याप्रमाणात झालेला नाही, ही दुःखदायक बाब. ह्या सर्व गोष्टी झगमगत्या शहराच्याठिकाणीच मर्यादित राहिल्या आणि नेमकी जिथे गरज आहे तिथे त्या पोचल्याच नाहीत.
महाराष्ट्रात एकूण 36 जिल्ह्यांपैकी कैक जिल्हे प्रमुख सुविधांपासून आजही वंचित आहेत. आणि त्यात प्रामुख्याने कोकणातील रत्नागिरी आणि सिंधुदुर्ग या जिल्ह्यांचा उल्लेख करता येईल. अरबी समुद्राला लागून असलेल्या या जिल्ह्यांना प्रतीस्वर्ग वगैरे उपमा दिली जाते; परंतू इथल्या सुविधांबद्दल काय..? आजवर आमच्यातल्या कैक बांधवांनी विषार झाल्यावर आवश्यक औषधसाठा नसल्याने जीव गमावला. कित्येक बाळंतीणी याच कारणाने बाळासह जगाचा निरोप घेऊन गेल्या. त्यांचीही काही स्वप्ने रंगविलेली असतील. काही नियोजित आशा असतील..? सगळं एका क्षणात धुळीस मिळत गेलं. कारण एकच आम्हीच कमी पडलो..
बरं, समजा एखादी सुविधा पोचलीच तर इथल्या सामान्याला ती मोठ्या संकटात टाकणारी ठरतेय. तुटपुंज्या मिळकतीवर जगणारा आणि दिवस ढकलणारा आमचा बाप तिथे पुरा पडत नाही. कारण ह्या सुविधा केवळ खाजगी दवाखान्यातच मुक्कामाला असतात. सरकारने अशा सुविधांची कधी घाई केली नाही किंवा असा विचार करायला त्यांना वेळच मिळाला नाही. समजा एखाद्याने ह्यात तोंड उघडलंच किंवा वेदना मांडलीच तर दुसऱ्या कोणालातरी त्याचं श्रेय मिळेल या राजकीय स्वार्थापोटी असे अनेक आवाज दाबण्याचा प्रयत्न आजवर झाला. ह्यावर आताच्या घडीला नेमका उपाय काय..? तर आपल्याजवळ जवळ असणारं जे काही देता येईल ते या प्रश्नाला वाचा फोडण्यासाठी देणे म्हणजे एकार्थी या चळवळीत सहभागी होणे होय. आज अवघा मुचकुंदी परिवार या प्रश्नावर रान पेटवतोय, रात्रीचा दिवस करत शिलेदार पोडतिडकीने यात सहभागी होतायत, ही खऱ्याअर्थी एक क्रांतीची चाहुलच म्हणता येईल. अशावेळी या अवघ्यांच्या हाताला हातभार लावणे आपल्या अवघ्यांचे कर्तव्य बनते. इथे कोणता राजकीय, सामाजिक किंवा वैयक्तिक स्वार्थ नाहीये, तर केवळ आमच्या आईवडीलांना, शेजाऱ्यापाजाऱ्यांना आणि महाल-म्हाताऱ्यांना उत्तम सेवा मिळावी हाच एकमेव उद्देश यात अधोरेखित होतोय, हे जाणणेही महत्वाचे ठरते.
सरतेशेवटी, आजच्या घडीला तुम्ही-आम्ही देवदूत तर बनू शकत नाही;परंतू आपल्याकडे जे काही आहे ते देणं म्हणजेच या पुण्यवान कार्याला हातभार लावणारे ठरेल यात शंका नाही. म्हणून यापुढील काळात इथल्या नातेवाईकांचा, भावंडांचा जीव वाचावा, त्यांना सुयोग्य उपचार लाभावे यासाठी म्हणून तुम्ही आम्ही जागृत होऊया. इथे एखादा अपघात झाला तर कोल्हापूर-मुंबईशिवाय पर्याय नाही. त्यात सर्व सुविधायुक्त अशी रुग्णवाहिका नाही. अशावेळी कधीकधी स्वतःची काहीच चूक नसतानादेखील आणि अशा दुर्लक्षित सुविधांमुळे आपल्यातलाच एखादा भाऊ-बहीण जीवाला मुकते. त्यावर केवळ श्रद्धांजल्या वाहून, मेणबत्त्या जाळून आणि मिरवणूका काढून भागणार नाही तर अशा शाश्वत उपाययोजनांसाठी भांडणे आणि त्या पदरात पाडून घेणे गरजेचे आहे.
जाता जाता एक आवाहन इथे करावेसे वाटतेय. ज्यांच्याकडे वेळ आहे त्यांनी स्वतः यात सहभागी व्हावे. ज्यांना यातील शासकीय बाबी ठाऊक आहेत त्यांनी त्या इतरांना समजावत प्रत्यक्ष अमंलबजावणीला जोर घ्यावा. ज्यांच्याकडे वाचा फोडण्याचे लेखणीसारखे अस्त्र आहे त्यांनी त्याची धार पाजळवून थेट कृतीला प्राधान्य द्यावे आणि सगळ्यात महत्वाचे प्रत्येकाने सर्व मार्गांनी या चळवळीत सहभागी असणाऱ्या सर्व प्रामाणिक शिलेदारांचे मनोबल वाढवण्यासाठी शाबासकीची थाप द्यावी.
या चळवळीचाच एक भाग असलेल्या या उपक्रमात एका शून्याएवढा का होईना पण यातला घटक होता आलं, याचा तूर्तास मनोमनी आनंद आहे.. 🙏🏻😊
