आरोग्य अभियानातून स्वच्छतेचा संदेश; निरोगी गांव, निर्मल गाव हाच उद्देश
आरोग्य म्हणजे नुसते शरीराचे आजार व त्यावरील वैध्यकीय उपाय नव्हेत. आरोग्याकडे सर्व दृष्टीने पाहिले पाहिजे. म्हणजे लक्षात येईल आरोग्याचा विचार हा सर्वांगीण झाला पाहिजे. मुळात सद्यस्थित लांजा-राजापूर मधील शासकीय रुग्णालयीन सुविधा अपुऱ्या आहेत हे खरय. त्या सक्षमपणे येथील जनतेला मिळाव्यात यासाठी “मुचकुंदी परिसर विकास संघ” फार उत्तमप्रकारे काम करीत आहे. सरकारी आरोग्यसेवेचा लाभ घेताना येथील जनतेची गैरसोय होत आहेच. त्यावर रडत न बसता एकविचाराने, एकजुटीने अव्यवस्थेवर आवाज उठविणे गरजेचे आहे. शासन, प्रशासन यांना गैरसोयी निदर्शांत आणून देणे आपला अधिकार आहे. आरोग्य ही मुलभूत गरज आहे. त्यामुळे समाजातील दुर्बळ घटकांपर्यंत या सेवेचा लाभ घेता. कारण हा आपल्या सर्वांचाच हक्क आहे आणि तो आपल्याला मिळवलाच पाहिजे. आरोग्य सेवेअंतर्गत
मुलभूत गरजा जर मिळत नसेल तर ती जनतेच्या हक्काची पायमल्लीच.
आरोग्य सुविधांवर बोलताना आपल्या लक्षात येईल की, छोट्या छोट्या रोगाचे निदान करावयाचे असेल तरीही येथील लोक खाजगी दवाखाने गाठतात. बहुधा याची अनेक कारणे असू शकतात. वैद्यकीय कर्मचारी यांच्या निवस्थानाची योग्य सोय नसल्याने ग्रामीण ठिकाणी काम करण्यास थोडी नाराजी आणि त्यामुळे सहसा ग्रामीण भागाकडे वळत नाहीत. अपुऱ्या मनुष्यबळामुळे वैद्यकीय कर्मचारी यांच्यावर आधीच ताण असतो. अपुऱ्या साधनसामुग्री व मनुष्यअभावी सरकारी रुग्णालयात दिरंगाई किंवा तसे मार्गदर्शनही मिळत नाही. सध्यस्थितीत आवश्यक यंत्रणे आणि वैद्यकीय तज्ञ यांची रिक्त जागा भरणे आवश्यक आहे. यासाठी शासनाने जिल्हा रुग्णालायासोबत तालुक्याच्या आरोग्य केंद्राकडे विशेष लक्ष्य घालून सेवा सक्षमपणे राबविण्यासाठी प्रयत्नशील असावेत. पण आज मात्र फार संकुचित पद्धतीने या प्रश्नांकडे पाहिले जाते. माझ्या गावात सरकारी दवाखाना (PHC) उपकेंद्र अगदीच नाहीतर आशा कार्यकर्त्या आहेत आणि आम्हाला वेळेवर लसीकरण केले तसेच गरजेला औषधे दिली म्हणजे झाले अशी मनाची समजूत आहे. हे फार वाईट आहे.
मित्रहो, आरोग्य सुविधांकरिता विचारमंथन करत असतना प्रथम आपण ग्रामपातळीवर प्राथमिक पद्धतींचा अवलंब करून आपण स्वतःचे आरोग्य सदृढ ठेवण्यात यशस्वी होऊ.
i) आरोग्य पाणी, ii) शुद्ध पाणी आणि iii) आरोग्याबद्दलची अंधश्रद्धा.
स्वतःचे आरोग्य जपणूक करणे हे देखील आपले आद्य कर्त्यव्य आहे. सार्वजनिक आरोग्य, जलविषयक आरोग्य, सामुदायिक आरोग्य या बाबी बघणे तितकेच गरजेचे आहे. त्याला आपल्या ग्रामपंचायतीपासून सुरुवात करणे महत्वाचे आहे. त्यासाठी प्रथम ग्रामपंचायतीचे आरोग्य म्हणजे काय तर सदस्य सुज्ञानी असणे आवश्यक आहे. त्यांना आपल्या गावातील आरोग्यासाठी आवश्यक काय गोष्टी करता येतील याची जाणीव असणे महत्वाचे आहे. त्यासाठी स्वताच्या घरापासून सुरुवात करावी लागेल. घरात पुरेसा उजेड, घर परसवन स्वच्छ असणे, सांडपाण्याची योग्य व्यवस्था इत्यादी गोष्टी करता येतील. यात घरातील व भोवतालच्या केर कचऱ्याचे व्यवस्थापन करणे आवश्यक आहे. अशाप्रकारे सदस्यांनी स्वतःचा आदर्श निर्माण करावा. त्यानुसार गावातील सर्व घरांचे नियोजन व अंमलबजवाणी होणे फार गरजेचे आहे. आरोग्य अभियान राबवून ग्रामपंचायत पिण्याच्या पाण्याचे योग्य व्यवस्थापन, जलस्रोत, सार्वजनिक व खाजगी जलपाण्याची स्वच्छता जपणूक करू शकते. तसे विचार मनात आणले पाहिजे. वेळोवेळी निर्जंतुकीकरण करणे, नेहमी पाणी तपासणी करणे. सर्व ग्रामस्थांना १२ महिने पुरेसा पाणीपुरवठा करणे जेणेकरून वैयक्तिक आरोग्याची काळजी घेतली जावू शकते. शालेय आरोग्यावर विध्यार्थी कर्मचारी यांचे आरोग्य व १००% लसीकरण याबाबत जागृत असणे. यावर ग्रामपंचायत आपल्या गावातील लोकांची काळजी घेऊ शकते. सार्वजनिक पाण्याच्या ठिकाणी अस्वच्छता किंवा आरोग्याला अपायकारक द्रव्य मिसळत असेल तर त्यावर बंधने घालावीत. अशाप्रकारे आपण मुळातच रोग जडण्यापासून स्वत:ला पर्यायाने गावाला निरोगी बनवू शकतो.
यासोबत ग्रामस्थांचे वेळोवेळी आरोग्य विषयावर प्रबोधन करणे महिला मंडळ तसेच बचत गट यांच्या आरोग्यविषयक जागृती करणे.. आढावा घेत राहणे. या प्राथमिक गोष्टी ग्रामीण स्तरावर केल्यास गावातील ५०% तरी आरोग्य हे सुधारण्यास सहकार्य होऊ शकेल. याच सामाजिक बांधिलकीने संस्थेच्या या लढ्यात सहभागी व्हा! एकसघ व्हा! विकासाची उंची गाठा!
